Amanda McCabe sings in the band; outside of it, she is a pianist and environmentalist, among other things. Originally from upstate New York, she has lived in New Jersey since 2003.

Brian McCabe hails from sunny Florida. He and Amanda have been married for seventeen wonderful years. He has played bass in bands (orchestra, jazz, punk, etc.) since he was a teenager, and plays mostly standup bass in ABCD, occasionally joining in on harmonica or vocals. Professionally, he has been involved in public radio work for his entire career, currently at NPR in New York City.

Charlie Potters is a multi-instrumentalist whose attention span keeps those around him guessing. Although he prefers to play his open-tuned guitar with ABCD, he will often turn to the piano as well as the accordion, plus dozens of other things from his collection of antique and unusual musical instruments. His deep baritone voice can often be heard woven into the harmonies of ABCD.  A New Jersey Native with a deep knowledge of early American history and objects associated with it, he often works with museums, auction galleries and collectors to research and appraise art and antiques around the country.

Daniel Kirk spent his formative years in Ohio, but has lived on the east coast for many years. He is a prolific children’s book author and illustrator, and has traveled the country teaching school children about writing and drawing. He’s also been a songwriter for many decades, and loves telling stories through his music. He plays acoustic guitar and sings in ABCD.
